How often should a hedge be trimmed?

Most hedges need one or two cuts a year — typically late spring and again in late summer once nesting season has passed. Fast growers like leylandii can need a third visit.

Can you cut a hedge that's badly overgrown?

Yes — overgrown and neglected hedges are some of the most common jobs we take on. We'll bring it back into shape gradually if needed so the hedge stays healthy.

Do you take the cuttings away?

Always. Every branch and clipping is cleared from the site as part of the job, and we sweep up before we leave.
